It’s been a busy few months in the lemonade world, and we’ve squeezed as much zest as possible into our days over the last few months. After all, when life gives you lemons, you have lemonade.
At times, we’ve bottlenecked and had weekends of thousands of thirsty humans experiencing and enjoying our refreshing, self-proclaimed world champion lemonades. We’ve got a new brand identity, a wicked new website and we’re ready to take on the world of the traditional lemonade stand. Remember – it doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty; there’s clearly enough room for more lemonade.
What the pith? What happened to 2019?
Starting with our great friends at Saints, our resellers, or as we like to call them – lemontrepreneurs (find out more about becoming a lemontrepreneur), plied their trade at the Saints Waterpolo Festival in October, where sales pipped our old record. Now that’s appealing.
Then hit December, which was very busy with the SA Schools Waterpolo Inter-Provincial Tournament in Gauteng (a very well hosted tournament which was only slightly soured by the weather on days one and two!). Finals day, however, was great – a day made just for lemonade. We have almost fermented ourselves, in the heart of great water polo, great weather and awesome people! Citrus got real.
We’re getting all touchy-peely…
It’s 2020 – we’re full of zest for life and our vision is clear. We’ve made new friends around our lemonade stand, we’ve nurtured our old relationships and our little craft lemonade brewery is flourishing in all this lemon love!
Watch this space – we are expanding rapidly across this lovely slice of Africa, a peel at a time.
‘Til next time… squeeze the day! Don’t be bitter, stay zesty. And yes, prepare for more ‘punny’ stories because of life. Lemons. Lemonade.
